New Dates for Postponed GC Conference
The following letter from Malcolm McKenzie announces the rescheduled GC conference. It is set for March 16 - 21, 2010.

July 24, 2009

Dear Global Connectors,

We are again on track for a wonderful seminar in Jordan, based at King's Academy in Madaba, just south of the capital city, Amman. I visited KA last month, for the second time, and was again inspired by what is happening there. I do hope that you will be able to come in March 2010, from Tuesday March 16 to Sunday March 21. Please save these dates now. Invitation letters and registration forms to all on our database of past participants will be sent out from Jordan by e-mail early in September. If you have not heard from King's Academy by mid-September, please contact Abeer Nammari, at King's Academy, on: anammari *at* kingsacademy *dot* edu *dot* jo. All registration must be through King's Academy. Enquiries from interested, new participants are most welcome.

An enthralling program has been assembled around the general theme: "Culture and History: Understanding the Arab World". Instead of a post-seminar event, a trip for all will be built into the schedule. On the Friday, we shall head south from Amman to camp overnight in the desert and then, on the way back the next day, we shall return via Petra, the extraordinary stone city. As usual, there will be plenty of time to share insights about our own work and experiences in so many different parts of the world. Details of the program will be in the letter of invitation, and the all-inclusive cost will be US$1600. Despite the financial downturn and tight school budgets, we expect great interest in this seminar and numbers will be limited so please do register quickly.

If you are genuinely in need of financial aid, or wish to bring a Head from a partner school less advantaged than yours, please enquire for possible subsidy through The Hotchkiss School, as below:
